This project was born of helping some friends with a translation of a famous French poem they wanted to use at a memorial service and had only found robotic AI versions online. I studied French at the University of Leeds over 30 years ago, back when we used dictionaries, human intuition and experience.
I'll be adding more content over time, each available as an easily downloadable PDF. The time when you need printouts of these poems is not one for copying and pasting. If you have any suggestions for poems to feature or translate, please email me at the address below.
